About Us

BRL Engineering was founded in 2003 from a home-office by Brian R. Leonard, PE, PLS of Four Oaks, NC. Since that time, our firm has continued to grow and we are proud to hold office in the neighboring town of Smithfield. We are currently located at 112 Johnston Street in Smithfield. We are committed to providing quality design, engineering, and land surveying services. We provide experience in a wide range of civil/site/land-development specialties; such as erosion control, stormwater, water distribution, sewer collection, and various municipal services. Our experience in taking projects from begin-to-end has allowed us to understand the labyrinth of permitting issues and approvals that are required for most projects.
