Meet Our Team

Founder of BRL Engineering & Surveying, PLLC, Brian entered his career as a Civil Engineer. He later obtained his Surveying license as well and enjoys the flexibility that both roles afford him to be out in nature. Brian enjoys cheering on the Tar Heels, golf and spending time with 3 daughters and wife.

Sauyer is a NCSU graduate with a degree in Civil Engineering. 

Founder of Byrd Surveying, PLLC in 1972, Linwood brings invaluable knowledge of the county, state and profession to our team. Linwood is semi-retired now and enjoys golf, fishing, and spending time with his 7 grandchildren.

A former elementary school Principal, Stephanie retired to join her husband in supporting the family business. In her spare time Stephanie enjoys running, knitting, and spending time with her 3 girls and Brian.
