To accomplish our Mission by balancing our Client’s goals for Project Development, Capital Improvements, and Land Planning Projects with evolving regulatory processes and with sustainability within the community; AS WELL AS provide a family-oriented work environment promoting community involvement and awareness.

Core Values:

Civil Engineering & Surveying Expertise and Solutions: Our projects typically begin with our clients’ goals to design, develop or construct infrastructure on a piece of land, OR to measure, establish, or manipulate land boundaries on a parcel or parcels of land. We take pride in having the technical and professional background and experience to assist our clients in accomplishing these goals, within the confines of land that they own or control. We also take pride in understanding the labyrinth of regulations on local, state and federal levels that allow, or restrict, certain land and development activities, and in guiding a project through a successful permitting process.

Civic-Mindedness, Sustainability, Community-Involvement: The term “civil” in civil engineering requires that engineering project solutions consider the well-being of the local and surrounding community. “Sustainability” requires that we consider surrounding impacts both now and in the future. Sustainability does not imply that there will be no impact from growth and development, however these activities should consider, and be able to quantify, impacts on current and future infrastructure and on the community at-large. Our workplace location(s) along with our goals to provide more services locally and encourage our employees to be involved in the community, allows us to know and interact daily with not only our clients, but with local businesses, residents, and government agencies that also have a stake in our clients’ projects. This stake in the community holds us socially accountable and helps us to earn the trust and respect of the community as we design and plan our projects.

Family-Oriented and Community-Oriented Work Environment: In 2017 when our self-employed company founder merged his civil engineering business with his father-in-law’s surveying business in Smithfield, NC, he decided to begin by hiring individuals who share his passion for living within/around the community that they work in, and for developing a teamwork approach within the workplace that mimics a strong family unit with impeccable work ethic. Just like a strong family, we want our employees to understand and appreciate each other’s roles in the company, support each other where we can, and grow in understanding the impact that our profession and our character have on the community. We also encourage and try to support our employees spending time in pursuing and developing their own family interests and spending time with family whenever possible.
